October Suggestions

This week’s blog post is going to be a little different, as I’m really interested in your ideas and suggestions. I’d love to read your comments.

A while back, I posted a story based on an urban legend in my home state. I really appreciated the positive responses it got, especially since it was a genre I rarely write and I got the idea to do it from when I used to spend my nights reading posts on the subreddit /nosleep. From that moment, I was considering the idea of writing only scary stories for the month of October. I mean, Halloween will fall on the last Saturday of the month, it’s perfect timing.

I figured I would just continue to post as I have been doing since I started, completely random and unconnected, but as I’m prone to do especially at the last possible moment, I been rethinking that strategy. The first idea is writing one long story with multiple parts.  I was also considering writing different stories that share a theme or the same subject. These stories could also be individual stories that don’t connect or different stories that interweave into one larger story. Basically, I have too many ideas and would love to know what you all would like to read. I’m even taking suggestions, got an urban legend I should check out? Got a supernatural creature you want to see? As much as I appreciate the likes I’d really like to get some engagement and come up with something together.  I’m going to have fun writing this month however the story is told, I’d just like to know that you’re enjoying what you read and feel like you’re all a part of it.
